Based on my scoring system these are my current top 10 cafes. I believe they all have great cakes and drinks and are well worth a cycle ride to visit.
1. Earsham Street Cafe, Bungay, Suffolk.
Has been my number 1 cafe since 2013. As well as being a top cafe you are able to wheel your bike through the cafe to a safe area at the back. The cakes (although not a huge selection) are some of the best around and hot drinks are of a high standard too. A must for cafe cyclists. Click here for my full review and more details. 6. Black Apollo, Holt, Norfolk.
Considered by many of my guests to offer the best coffee of any cafe on my list. It actually roasts its own beans just down the road. The hot chocolate is also of high quality. Although the cake selection is not the largest they are excellent ones. With a number of very good cafes and tearooms to choose from in Holt then the Black Apollo is always my first choice.
